Room sprays not only deodorize the room, but you get that smell of leaves, baked goods, and spices even without actually baking anything. Here are some different room sprays recipes for the fall season that use essential oils.
Vanilla Room Spray
This first room spray is perfect for fall, but can also be used during any time of the year. It is going to smell strongly of vanilla, with some other Autumn-like scents to go with it. It is also a very simple combination of ingredients, allowing anyone to make the simple spray.
All you need to do is get a spray bottle and add some vanilla extract, cinnamon oil, clove oil, and orange oil to some distilled water. The distilled water is going to help it work as a room spray and help to dilute the essential oils you are using. Continue reading

One of the most awesome parts of fall are the distinctive aromas. Cinnamon, cloves, apples, pumpkin, oranges, lavender, vanilla – they all bring to mind the wonderful fall season along with the cool rush of air that signals the coming of the fall holidays.
Depending on the aromas you like, you can make different potpourri recipes to bring out those smells along with their associated feelings.
All you need is dried flowers, zest, cloves, cinnamon sticks, apples, pumpkins, other fall-scented plants and water. Try different combinations to see what makes your house smell best. You can also try these same ingredients and leave in dishes around your house to bring up those smells for your home.
You can dry flowers, fruit, and more at home yourself just using your oven or by hanging the arrangements upside down in a dry place. If you have a dehydrator, you can also use that. Or you can use an oven, parchment paper and a low temperature of 250 degrees Fahrenheit for several hours until the fruit or flowers are completely dried. Continue reading
