A site for my favorite season!

Ingredients

2 Tbs. cooking oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 an onion, diced
1 can pumpkin puree
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In the bottom of a soup pot, sauté onion and garlic in oil until onion is translucent.
  2. Add spices and stir.
  3. Pour in chicken broth, pumpkin puree and milk.
  4. Bring to a boil on medium heat.
  5. Then lower the heat and simmer for 15 min. Serve hot.
